About CSFW

Dan

Responsible for most of the design work and project construction. Mostly self-taught, he has been woodworking since he was a child helping in his Dad's shop. He is also the webmaster for clearstreamwood.com. When not in the shop Dan can be found hiking, kayaking and skijoring (cross-country skiing hooked to a husky).

Born and raised in Northern NH, Dan works full-time as a construction engineer for the State of NH. He has a BS in Civil Engineering with an interest in naval architecture. He was a member of the UNH Sailing Team for 3 years.

Christine

When not watching our daughter, refereeing the dogs and cooking, Christine helps in the shop and takes care of office administration. Her cookies are incredible, plus she's a very good varnisher and staple-puller! She likes to hike, paddle, telemark skiing and skijoring with Ginger (and Lena).

Christine was born and raised in Northern NH. She has a BS in biology and is now a stay at home momma. Her family owns the old Millsfield, NH farm on the Clear Stream and are the caretakers of the property.

Lena & Danielle

Our youngest daughter, Danielle, will begin paddling with us when she's five months old. She'll start just laying down in the cockpit. The gently rocking will quickly put her to sleep.

We did the same with Lena. She's two years old now and a lot more active. She's wants to help paddle. her buddy Capt'n Elmo is usually at the helm. This year she'll start paddling her own kayak, the "Sharkbait!"

Ginger

Chief of Security for CSFW.

Ginger is our young female mala-mutt (malamute/husky cross) and Christine's skijoring pal. You don't see her too often in the shop. She's usually hanging out with with Christine and Lena.

Kodiak (Kodi)

Mostly a sawdust magnet, Kodi is our male samoyed puppy and Dan's skijoring buddy. He's responsible for shop recycling (he finds cardboard and white pine especially tasty). When not in the shop he's with Dan hiking, skijoring, sleeping on the tile floor or chasing Spot.

Claritin (Clare)

Head of CSFW's Vermin Exterimination Unit, Clare is a year old stray we rescued.
